SustainABILITY Series Part 1 – July 18, 2020

Sign up for our SustainABILITY Series and learn easy, effective, and PRACTICAL ways to live a healthier lifestyle, reduce your waste stream, and be happier doing it! Your actions can have a positive impact on your mental and physical well-being.

Class 1: Food — learn how to reduce paper and plastic waste around the foods you buy, prepare, and eat. Tricks to reduce the waste of restaurant/takeaway food. Backyard food gardens, CSAs, and farmer’s markets.

Our classes are interactive! Bring your questions — we’ll take regular breaks for Q&A during class and via the online “chat” window.  Amy Ceccoli is a board member at SimplyLiving.com, a local organization that believes in “creating a compassionate and sustainable world through personal, community, and cultural transformation.” Amy walks her eco-talk, sometimes imperfectly but always with thoughtful enthusiasm and humor. In this class, you’ll learn about EASY and EFFECTIVE ways to make a big impact and reduce your waste stream. She’ll share her real-life experiences about making sustainable changes in her home and work environments.

*This event is cosponsored by City Folks Farm Shop, Green Haven Living, and the Columbus Garden School!*
